Shopping Early

The judge was in the holiday spirit when he asked the prisoner, "And what are you charged with?"

"Doing my Christmas shopping early," replied the defendant.

"That's no offense," said the judge. "Just how early were you?"

The prisoner replied, "Before the store opened!"
